Went down river to Venice with some buddy’s Capt David and Capt Rick. Man the trout bite is on down there to. These were all caught on the bottom with purple reaction lures. It’s fun to go and catch fish some where new. But the trout bite is on in lafitte too. Have a good day. Capt Kris Hebert

I want to thank Mr. Rod Callehan and Mr. Chris Warren for trying to fish with me today. We pulled up to our first spot, caught two beautiful reds, and that’s when the weather decided to change on us. Winds were blowing from the North 30 miles an hour with freezing rain coming down. It was miserable after that. We decided to call the trip and they will come back when the weather is a little better!
